You still have time to submit your historical newspapers
ONA is set to launch newspapersmakehistory.com in September and we need your help. The Web site is the last of ONA’s 75th anniversary activities and is intended to draw public attention to the vital role of newspapers in chronicling the major events in Ohio since ONA’s founding in 1933. Daily newspaper members are being asked to submit headline pages covering a set list of 100 major events. Weekly members are being asked to submit any edition within the 75 years that covers a significant event in their local community.
Deadline for submissions has been extended to Monday, Aug. 18. Questions should be directed to ONA executive director Frank Deaner.
