Members are reminded that now is the time for nominations for the William Maxwell Award, ONA’s highest honor, recognizing individual achievement in the advancement of the newspaper profession.
The award was presented for the first time at the 2009 ONA Convention to Cleveland native Len Downie, Ohio State University journalism graduate and former editor of The Washington Post. This year’s nomination deadline of Dec. 15 has been extended to Dec. 31. For complete details go to maxwell.ohionews.org.
