With dramatic increases in online readership and the current boom in handheld devices, new readership strategies are emerging in this new decade. The closing session of the 2010 ONA Convention has been designed to help our members address these significant developments.

Conducting the Thursday afternoon, Feb. 11, session at the Hilton Columbus will be Barbara Cohen, president and founder of Chicago-based Kannon Consulting, one of the leaders in this field of marketing analysis and strategic planning. Her more-than-thirty-year career began in brand management at Procter & Gamble and includes executive positions with Booz Allen Hamilton and The Cambridge Group.

A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Pennsylvania State University, Cohen earned her MBA degree from the Wharton School of Business. At Kannon Consulting, her clients have included the E.W. Scripps Co., Tribune Co., Washington Post, MediaNews Group and Yahoo! She has published over fifty articles in business and industry journals and is a sought-after speaker for business and industry conferences all across the U.S.

The ONA Convention begins with a Welcome Reception sponsored by The Blade of Toledo on Wednesday evening, Feb. 10, and concludes with Cohen’s session on Thursday afternoon, Feb. 11.
