A federal judge refused again Tuesday to make public recordings of secret FBI wiretaps played as evidence in the corruption trial of former Cuyahoga County Commissioner Jimmy Dimora and his driver, Michael Gabor.

After Dimora and Gabor were convicted March 9 of racketeering and other corruption-related charges, The Plain Dealer and other news outlets asked U.S. District Judge Sara Lioi to release all of the 1,200 trial exhibits, including hundreds of wiretap recordings.
