“Our new Constitution is now established, and has an appearance that promises permanency; but in this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes.”
BENJAMIN FRANKLIN, IN A LETTER TO JEAN-BAPTISTE LEROY, 1789
With all due respect to Mr. Franklin, I believe the only certainties in life are death, taxes and change, but not necessarily in that order. Change is constant, as we are always evolving, trying to improve, find efficiencies and do a better job. This is especially true of businesses that are trying to maintain their edge in today’s dynamic marketplace.
The Repository always has embraced change; some changes were thrust upon us, and others were embraced in order to expand our content and enhance your experience as readers.
Last spring, we added the Stark Business Journal in response to our growing business community. We have added more enterprise and investigative reporting this year, particularly in our Sunday edition. We have offered special reporting sections on Ohio’s gas and oil industry, the 50th anniversary of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and election preview guides, to name a few.
We are going to make a few more changes in the next several weeks and months that will provide you with more information about our community.
