The Ohio Newspaper Association held a successful sales training session at the Ohio University, Pickerington Center on September 18. Bill Albrecht, president of the Media Network of Central Ohio led the training. Bill covered how to build a blueprint to drive sales achievement. He had many useful handouts including a goal management worksheet. Bill provided useful sales information and the session had good audience participation.
On October 2, ONA held the Ohio Public Notice Laws session. Lou Colombo, Baker & Hostetler and ONA general counsel, and Dennis Hetzel, ONA executive director, led the session with an informative PowerPoint and good discussion on updates on the changes and latest developments on Ohio’s public notice laws.
The final in-person training session will be held on Wednesday, October 30 – Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator – Latest Tips and Tricks with Lisa Griffin. Lisa will also be addressing Adobe “going to the cloud” issue in her session. This training is in a lecture setting so questions are encouraged.
