Customers who get The Blade delivered to their homes can now get an added benefit — a 52-week Digital Premium Subscription to the Washington Post.
The Post is one of the most respected newspapers in the United States, having won more than 50 Pulitzer Prizes.
“It’s going to be a nice addition that our current subscribers can access for free,” said Dick Fuller, The Blade’s director of circulation.
Blade print subscribers already get unlimited access to all of The Blade’s digital products, including the eBlade, which is an electronic replica of that day’s print edition. Now they also can get 24/7 access to the Washington Post via computer, smart phone, and tablet.
The Post has Web-only and mobile-only features that take readers deeper into stories that they care about. For tablet users, the Post offers more than 40 comic strips and a complete electronic replica of The Post’s print edition.
Blade officials said the benefit is worth more than $100.
