The Daily Record in Wooster, Oh, is seeking a circulation manager to lead the audience development and distribution operation. Our products include a daily newspaper, weekly and niche products and websites servicing both the desktop and mobile reader.
The Circulation Manager will provide leadership to a staff of District Managers, field representatives and contractors in the development and implementation of marketing programs to increase total audience development and retention for both print and digital revenue.
Responsibilities for this position include all aspects of marketing and distribution including home deliver, single copy, digital subscriptions, niche products, and sales and retention for the daily newspaper. Candidates must be results-oriented, possess a creative approach to audience development and have an unwavering commitment to customer service. This individual must demonstrate a positive style of leadership to develop standards and expectations.
A minimum of three years circulation and supervisory experience as well as an understanding of contractor relationships is preferred. A college degree is helpful. Equivalent management experience is also acceptable. This position requires a personal vehicle. An acceptable driving record and current driver's license are required.
