We are offering a great opportunity as editor of a twice-weekly newspaper and daily multimedia organization in Georgetown, Ohio, in Brown County. Primary responsibilities include overseeing a news staff and directing the coverage of a dynamic and diverse county. Benefits include working with a great team of local employees across all departments.
A degree, experience or training in journalism is preferred. The ideal applicant will have strong leadership qualities; a positive attitude; team-oriented perspective; creative personality; good editing and writing skills; knowledge and skill across all digital and social media platforms; and the ability to oversee and produce multiple stories per day on deadline. Salary commensurate with experience. Vacation, sick leave included, insurance coverage available.
