W.Va. daily seeks experienced reporter

The Herald-Dispatch, a locally owned daily newspaper in Huntington, W.Va., a city of about 50,000, is seeking an experienced reporter. The successful candidate will have proven capabilities and be equally adept at weaving compelling feature stories and people profiles and producing thorough hard news stories that answer all of readers’ questions. The position has an emphasis on health and social services coverage, as well as general assignment. A bachelor’s degree in journalism is required and a minimum of three to five years of experience is preferred.
