Ashland Times Gazette, a Dix Communications newspaper, is searching for a district sales manager in the circulation and distribution operation. Our products include an AM Monday through Saturday, weekly and niche products, and thriving websites servicing both the desktop and mobile reader. Our strategy is to provide relevant engaging content across each of our print and digital platforms in the communities we serve.
The District Sales Manager will provide direction to independent contractors to assure excellent customer service and increase audience development and retention.
Responsibilities for this position include all aspects of distribution, including home delivery, single copy, digital subscriptions, niche products, and sales and retention for the daily newspaper. Candidates must be results-oriented, possess good time management and organizational skills with an unwavering commitment to customer service. This individual must demonstrate a positive style of leadership to develop and maintain standards and expectations.
A college degree or equivalent management experience is helpful. This position requires a personal vehicle, so an acceptable driving record and current driver’s license are required.
