Carrier of the Year winners recognized at 2015 Circulation Conference

Last Sunday, this year's Ohio Circulation Conference recognized three outstanding newspaper carriers for their hard work and service. Congratulations to the 2015 Ohio Newspaper Carrier of the Year Award winners Cody Mason (left), Malysa Bell (center) and Rosemary "Tobi" Cowles (right). The banquet was sponsored by Civitas Media.

For the past year and a half, Cody Mason, 2015 Youth Winner, has been delivering The Courier (Findlay) after taking over for his older brother. At 15 years old, Cody has a 0.0 cpm, volunteers in his community, attends school at Riverdale High School and plays three sports.

Malysa Bell, 2015 Adult Winner, delivers The Blade and has been doing so the past seven years. Malysa stays active in the community as the co-owner of Ford's Angel Paws Foundation, an animal rescue program, and also takes care of her seven children and three step-children.

The Blade carrier Rosemary "Tobi" Cowles, this year's Senior Winner, started delivering newspapers in 1981. Now she has more than 250 customers. In her spare time, Tobi said she enjoys spending it with her children and grandchildren and working on a children's book.
