Ohio passed substantial changes to its law governing public notices in 2011. Colombo, an attorney with Baker & Hostetler in Cleveland, represents ONA and is a member of the ONA Board of Trustees. He is one of Ohio’s foremost authorities on public notices. Hetzel, ONA’s executive director, has been intimately involved in the legislation and its implementation. They will cover the latest ins and outs of the new law and suggest ways that newspapers can use the law’s requirements to build even stronger relationships with government advertisers.
During lunch, we have invited representatives from local government groups to discuss their relationships with newspapers and their needs when it comes to public notices.
Attendees also will receive take-home copies of our new spreadsheet that lists and organizes Ohio’s local government and court public notice requirements.
Don’t miss out on public notice revenue which should be going to your newspaper.
