Taking InDesign to the next level
Most newspapers use InDesign for ad design and pagination. Learning about this valuable tool can increase efficiency. This session is planned for users who have been creating pages with InDesign since the program first arrived ten years ago and for those who have been using it for only a short time. InDesign users of all skill levels will learn much about tools and skills available in versions CS through CS3. Among other things, Kevin plans to teach the following:
- Advanced options when importing and exporting text in InDesign
- Advanced options when importing and exporting PDF and other graphic file types
- Using scripts in InDesign
- Creating tables
- Creating special effects
- Various tab options
- Working with clipping and other paths
- Using the pen tool
- Advanced use of type on paths
There will be a one hour break for lunch. Lunches provided by ONA.
