The Instructors

Peter Conti Jr.Peter Conti Jr., senior vice president of Borrell Associates, has been engaged in traditional and online business start-ups for more than 20 years. After selling a retail business in late 1996, he began work in Richmond, Va., on one of the first e-commerce marketplaces for a 1,000+ member local merchants association. Conti joined Landmark Communications Inc. in 1998 to develop and manage the highly successful Richmond.com Web site. He has also served as director of interactive media for Media General’s Publishing division with shared responsibility for the online convergence effort of publishing and broadcast sites. Peter has been an adjunct professor at Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Business teaching Global Internet Marketing. He attended the International Studies program at the University of Lund, Sweden, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Radio, TV & Film from the University of Maryland.

Kimberly GreenwellKimberly Greenwell, Internet sales trainer for Borrell, started her career in media sales while receiving her degree in broadcasting and electronic media at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, KY. While at EKU, Greenwell began working as a sales representative at the University’s Eastern Progress newspaper and then as a paid intern at Landmark Community Newspapers. During her junior year, Greenwell began working as an account executive for WGRB-34, a WB affiliate. Working only three days a week, she quickly became their top biller. After graduation, Greenwell went back to Landmark Community Newspapers as a regional sales representative. Missing the fast pace of the broadcast world she shifted to WAVE 3-TV where she was an account executive for close to 7 years. During her tenure at WAVE, Greenwell found a niche in interactive media where she was the top performer in Internet sales from 2002 to 2007.
