USPS price increases take effect May 31

A United States Postal Service price change will take effect Sunday, May 31, at 12:01 a.m. CDT. The updated prices can be found in a spreadsheet on the Postal Explorer website, and they will be available on the Price List once they take effect. The price changes include a 1.9 percent overall increase on standard mail, according to the USPS’s Pricing Overview Presentation.

To hear a more detailed explanation of the pricing change, visit the USPS’s archive of 2015 pricing webinars. The webinars detail the changes made to all mail classes and can be found on the RIBBS website.
