Josh Trust named River Valley Media Group publisher
Josh Trust has an ambitious vision as he takes the helm of River Valley Media Group.
“It’s an exciting opportunity to join a progressive company like Lee and a local institution that prides itself on good journalism and civic responsibility,” Trust said.
Trust, a Pittsburgh native and 20-year veteran of the newspaper industry, has been named publisher of RVMG. He will manage operations for the La Crosse Tribune, Winona Daily News, Chippewa Herald and six weekly publications.
Local news remains a top priority for RVMG, and Trust stressed the importance of community partnerships in remaining the No. 1 resource for news and advertising in the Coulee Region.
“People want our content more than they have since Guttenberg put the first paper on a press. They just want it in a different format,” he said. “We’re still the most trusted resource for news.”
