The Celina Daily Standard is seeking a Sports Writer to join an experienced staff in covering exciting local sports in Mercer and Auglaize Counties. Candidate will be expected to write local content daily, copyedit wire and local stories, and design the sports pages. Willing to train the right candidate technical skills.
This is a 2nd shift position. Sports writer will join a seasoned coworker in the Daily Standard Sports department, along with six others in the Editorial department. The Daily Standard is a family owned newspaper started in 1848 and is published six days a week.
