Community journalism in central Ohio is about to turn a page — hundreds of thousands of them, actually.

Starting this week, 25 communities across the region will receive new weekly newspapers that incorporate the most-popular elements of the weeklies previously produced by ThisWeek Community Newspapers and Suburban News Publications.

The consolidated newspapers will have a combined circulation of 327,559 and a geographic footprint that stretches from Grove City to Sunbury and from Marysville to Newark.

Published in a 14-inch-deep, tab-style format, the weeklies will bear the overarching ThisWeek brand — although their nameplates will vary by community.
