Training Calendar

Each year the Newspaper Staff Training Calendar offers ONA members continuing education opportunities. These are day-long, professional training sessions taught by experienced instructors and prominent industry experts.
Most of the sessions are held at the centrally-located Ohio University Pickerington Center, which is 10 miles east of Columbus. Computer labs are utilized at Kent State University, Bowling Green State University and Ohio State University in an effort to bring technical training classes closer to members.
The annual Harry R. Horvitz Seminar, which is named for a former ONA president and newspaper owner and promotes editorial excellence, is included in the training calendar.
