Gongwer News Service (www.gongwer-oh.com) is seeking an energetic, full-time reporter to cover state government and politics from the company’s Columbus offices.
The job entails writing for Gongwer’s daily Ohio Report, which is read by leaders across the state and nation and published Mon.-Fri. The reporter selected will also contribute to the company’s variety of online news and legislative information services.
A background in daily news reporting is strongly recommended. Experience in covering government operations and politics, and an interest in public policy is preferred. Familiarity with social media, blogging and new technologies a plus.
