Easy money! Join our BENN Digital Advertising Network

Here’s the bottom line: ONMA members have made as much as $1,000 a month in new, incremental revenue simply by participating in our BENN Digital Advertising Network program.

To participate, all it takes is a conversation, a brief exchange of information and your willingness to let BENN send ads that fill unsold inventory on your website. You keep 50 percent; BENN keeps 50 percent.

These are quality ads by good advertisers. Though sold at remnant-type rates, they are not the type of advertisers you wouldn’t want.  You can exit the program at any time if not satisfied.

So, while I’m glad we have more than 20 Ohio newspaper websites participating, I’m disappointed that more of you haven’t at least checked this program out.

And here is more good news: The program keeps getting better. Jack Ratzsch, our BENN representative, told me this week that the latest tweaks to the system have boosted average CPMs from 50 to 125 percent. That means more dollars to share.

Finally, there’s this: Your participation not only makes money for you, it really helps your association. ONMA gets a small revenue share from BENN’s percentage for helping to promote.  Non-dues revenue streams are critical to our ability to provide the programs and support you need while keeping annual dues increases to a minimum.
